If you do not have old bike parts laying around and would still like to donate to Bikes for Kids, you can e-mail us for a list of parts we need to complete the bikes in our garage!
We at Bikes for Kids - Muskegon, think that a bicycle plays a very valuable role in anyone's life. Bikes provide freedom, exercise, skill's, and fun. They can teach responsibility, care, and can keep a child exercising for hours
Kids can ride to school and back, or up to the store or off for a joyride with their friends. They feel the wind in their hair, the rush of the speed, and the fun of riding.
If everyone got on a bike for just a small amount of time they would be happier and healthier, it doesn't take a lot of time just an hour or two a day, plus, imagine the gas you'd save using a bicycle.
Why did we start doing this? If we can change one child's life with an act of kindness, we did our best. We are all on this planet together and we have to look out for each other. Being regular people we can't do alot, but we can provide a service like this to make sure people can get bikes!
So it is with great understanding that we work to bring bikes to kids who otherwise might not get them, and hope that you'll help us do so by donating whatever you can and helping us get kids mobile.
Please understand that the children we help have met the qualifications established by our founding members.
